After about a year of focusing on family (due to serious illness), things are finally starting to return to normal. I know I've apologized for issues that have come up in the past several months, and I apologize again for my absence here. Like many small businesses, I didn't really have anyone to step in and take over when I couldn't be present. We're not out of the woods yet, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
Finally.
So... I am thrilled to announce that we have recently gone through some changes!
First, Pass It On Plates are now available for sale at:
The Fussy Duck
887 SE Commercial Street
Salem, Oregon
It's just south of downtown, behind Kwan's.
The plates are in the Nesting Materials booth, just inside the front door and down the aisle to the left. My daughter and I hang out in the "Girl Cave" at home and make crafty items and sew things, and that's what Nesting Materials is. When coming up with this idea we decided to include the plates as well.
Next, you already know about the new website address of www.pass-it-on-plates.com... now the website and blog are redesigned to match the updated address.
Also, this past winter I was excited to receive my first commission: six plates custom made for a family who is spread out across the US. The plates turned out great.
Coming soon, this spring I will host our first ever Plate Painting Party at our studio in Salem. Proceeds will benefit a local charity. Details will follow, but if you are interested please comment here and I'll add you to the guest list.
And last, I've got a stack of new clean white plates on the worktable in my studio. Sitting next to them is an assortment of clean paintbrushes and several jars of my special ceramic paint. I'll share pictures of each new plates as soon as it is ready.
Any special requests?
Cheers!
-Pam
