Hi Laurie, good question. Yes, you need a plate to leave a comment in the Plate Diary. Each plate has a tracking number that corresponds with its own diary.
(Basically the name of each blog post at the Plate Diary is a plate number, so every plate has its own blog post.)
The package sent to you with the Purple Swirly PlateWrap has a plate number in it, so you'll be able to leave a comment in the Plate Diary soon!
